Formula:

Calcium Gluconate Monohydrated…………… 40 g

Magnesium Glycerophosphate……………….. 1.0 g

Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrated………… 3.0 g

Anhydrous Glucose……………………………….. 5.0 g

Anhydrous Caffeine………………………………. 0.4 g

Excipients q.s.ad………………………………. 100 mL

 

Indications:

Magnesic calcifying with Phosphorus, Glucose, Calcium and Magnesium, that provides a stimulating and reviving action.

It is indicated for hypocalcaemia, hypomagnesaemia, weakness, tremors, tetany, vitular fever, eclampsia and acetonemia, downer cows syndrome.

 

Target species:

Bovine, Ovine and Equine

 

Route of administration:

It is administered subcutaneously, intraperitoneally or intravenously.

 

Dosage:

  • Bovine and Equine: 60 – 100 mL
  • Calf and colt: 15 – 30 mL
  • Ovine: 10 – 20 mL
  • Swine: 10 – 30 mL

 

Precautions:

In serious cases it is recommended endovenous injection slowly applied, with the product slightly tempered, combined with subcutaneous or intraperitoneal route. Thus, an initial quick effect is obtained and then prolonged by the slowest absorption of one of the other routes.

When the injections are administered exclusively by subcutaneous route, the dose must be distributed in three or four points. The intravenous injections must be administered slowly.
