Formula:

Each 10 g injector contains:

Ceftiofur HCl                                         125 mg

Excipients q.s.ad.                             1 injector

Indications:

Syringe for intrammamary application with Ceftiofur, third generation cephalosporin, very effective in clinical mastitis during lactation period caused by germs G and G- sensitive to the active ingredient.

Wihdrawal period and precuations:

Meat 2 days and milk: 72 hours.

Do not use in animals with known hypersensitivity to the active principle. It is recommended to treat the cows to detect early signs of mastitis during the lactation period. In cases where there are systemic clinical signs associated with mastitis disease, you must provide the appropriate treatment under the guidance of the veterinarian.

Route of administration:

Intramammary route. Completely milk the quarter to be treated, disinfect and dry the nipple before applying the intramammary syringe. Enter the contents of 1 intramammary syringe through the milk duct of the affected quarter. Massage in an ascending form in order to promote the diffusion of the product. The treated quarter can be milked in the normal milking time but the animal’s milk should be discarded for human consumption.

People with hypersensitivity to penicillins or cephalosporins should avoid contact with the product, for which the use of disposable gloves is recommended during the application.

Dosage:

An injector (10 g) per mammary quarter every 12 hours. We recommend at least two days of treatment and if the treatment is extended, according to the professional discretion, not extend it over 8 days.
