Injectable solution

Antibiotic, analgesic and anti-inflammatory for exclusive use in bovine

Formula:

Each 100 mL contains

Tilmicosin (as tilmicosin phosphate) 30 g

Flunixin (as Flunixin meglumine) 3.7 g

Excipients q.s.ad. 100 mL

Indications: 

Tilmic Plus is indicated for the treatment of Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD), especially in association with Pasteurella haemolytica and multocida and other organisms sensitive to tilmicosin. Infectious Keratoconjunctivitis of bovine associated with Tilmicosin susceptible strains, Morazella bovis. Necrotic pododermatitis (foot rot) associated with Fusobacterium necrophorum, Bacteroides nodosus and melaniogenicus, Porphyromas assacharolytica and intermediate Prevotella. Product indicated when, besides the antibiotic action, it is needed the anti-inflammatory, analgesic and potent antipyretic action.

Withdrawal period:

Meat 28 days.

Route of administration and dosage:

Each mL of the product contains 300 mg of Tilmicosin and 37 mg of Flunixin meglumine.

Recommended dose: * Pneumonia: 10 mL of Tilmicosin/kg, equivalent to 1 mL every 30 kg weight.

*Keratoconjunctivitis, foot rot and others infectious conditions: 5 to 10 mg of Tilmicosin/kg, equivalent to 1 mL every 30 to 60 kg weight, according to the case and the veterinarian’s discretion. It is recommended a single dose, if the veterinarian decides to repeat it, the recommended interval time are 72 hours.

Parental administration, subcutaneously only, taking into account the aseptic measures relating to the administration of injectable.

It is recommended its application under veterinarian’s discretion. Do not apply more than 10 mL per inoculation site.
