Formula:

Each 100 mL contains:

Oxytetracycline (Chloridrate) 20 g

Excipients q.s.ad. 100 mL

Indications:

Broad spectrum bacteriostatic antibiotic. It is indicated for the promotion of a long and sustained action in the control and treatment of infectious processes caused by Gram positive and Gram negative germs (both aerobic and anaerobic ones), Mycoplasmatace, Ricketsiae, Chlamidiae, certain pathogenic fungi and protozoa.

Target species:

Bovine, ovine, swine and poultry.

Withdrawal period:

Meat: 30 days.

Not to be used in females producing milk for human consumption.

Not to be used in laying hens producing eggs for human consumption.

Route of administration:

Parenteral; deep intramuscular injection, taking the corresponding aseptic measures. It can be administered by subcutaneous or intravenous route, according to the veterinarian’s discretion and the specie to be dosed.

Dosage

* 20 mg/kg body weight every 2 to 4 days.

Bovine, ovine and swine: 1 mL per 10 kg body weight.

Poultry: 0.15 – 0.30 mL/kg body weight.
