INDICATIONS: It is a non-steroid anti-inflammatory, a pyrazolonic derivate with an analgesic, antipyretic, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory action. Indicated for the treatment and prevention of all acute and chronic processes which involve swelling, pain, fever, spasms, colics, osteo-articular and muscle-skeletal processes such as arthritis, arthrosis, osteoarthritis, etc., articular degenerative disease, sciatic syndrome, etc.; to prevent post surgical swellings, endotoxic shock, etc. Very strong analgesic action on the somatic structures and a weaker action on the visceral structures. It has an antispasmodic action on the smooth musculature, it regulates the vegetative centres, accompanied with dilation of the peripheral vessels, improving the blood perfusion of the striated muscles. It has an antipyretic action by cutaneous vasodilatation and perspiration.
DOSAGE: Equine: 20 - 50 mg/kg of weight Bovine: 20 - 40 mg/kg of weight Swine: 15 - 50 mg/kg of weight The dosage shall be decided by the professional in charge, according to the characteristics of the case and the animal to be treated. Suggested dosage: Large animals: 20 - 60 ml every 8 - 12 hrs. Calves and: 5 - 15 ml every 8 - 12 hrs. Ovine and Caprine: 2 - 8 ml every 8 - 12 hrs. Canine: 1 - 5 ml every 8 - 12 hrs. Do not use on felines.
ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION: Parenteral, preferably slow intravenous injection; should it be administered by intramuscular injection, the injection must be deep.
ANIMAL SPECIES TO BE USED ON: Equine, bovine, ovine, caprine, swine and canine.
CAUTION: Do not use on felines. Do not use in lactating animals whose milk is destined for human consumption.
