Clostridial vaccine
Composition:
Purified toxoids of:
Clostridium perfringens type D ≥ 200 L /mL
Clostridium perfringens type C ≥ 200 L /mL
Clostridium perfringens type A ≥ 20 DLM/mL
Excipients:
Aluminum hydroxide 10 % v/v
Saline solution (NaCl 0.85 % w/v) q.s. dose
Thimerosal 0.5 mg / dose
Indications for use:
Vaccine for the prevention of Enterotoxemias, Necrotic Enteritis Neonatal Diarrhea in swine,
Hemorrhagic Enteritis of lambs and Pulpy Kidney Disease, caused by C. perfringens types A, C and
D.
Target species:
Bovine, ovine, caprine and swine.
Withdrawal period:
Do not slaughter animals for human consumption before 25 days post-vaccination.
Route of administration:
Subcutaneous route.
Dosage:
Bovine: 4 mL; Ovine, caprine and swine: 2 mL.
Vaccinate and revaccinated at an interval of 28-30 days, and revaccinate with a single dose
annually.
It can be vaccinated animals from two months old.
Conservation:
2°C – 8°C. DO NOT FREEZE.
