Formula:
Each 100 mL contains:

Dipirone 50 g

Excipients q.s.ad. 100 mL

 

Indications:

Dipirona Microsules is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory, a pyrazolone derivative with analgesic, antipyretic, antispasmodic and anti-inflammatory action.

It is indicated for the treatment and prevention of all acute and chronic processes which involve swelling, pain, fever, spasms, colics, osteo-articular and muscle-skeletal processes such as: arthritis, arthrosis, osteoarthritis, articular degenerative disease, sciatic syndrome, etc. It is also indicated for prevention of post-surgical swellings, endotoxic shock, etc.

It has a very strong analgesic action on the somatic structures and a weaker action on the visceral structures. It has an antispasmodic action on the smooth musculature; it regulates the vegetative centers, accompanied with dilation of the peripheral vessels, improving the blood perfusion of the striated muscles. It has an antipyretic action by cutaneous vasodilatation and perspiration.

 

Target species :

Equine, bovine, ovine, goat, swine and canine.

 

Withdrawal period:

Meat: 12 days

Do not administer to lactating animals whose milk is intended for human consumption.

 

Route of administration:

Parenteral route, preferably by slow intravenous injection. In case of intramuscular injection, it should be administrated deeply.

 

Dosage:
Equine: 20 – 50 mg/kg weight

Bovine: 20 – 40 mg/kg weight

Swine: 15 – 50 mg/kg weight

The dosage shall be decided by the professional in charge, according to the characteristics of the case and the animal to be treated.

Suggested dosage:

Large animals: 20 – 60 mL every 8 – 12 hrs.

Calves and foals: 5 – 15 mL every 8 – 12 hrs.

Ovine and goat: 2 – 8 mL every 8 – 12 hrs.

Canine: 1 – 5 mL every 8 – 12 hrs.
