Characteristics: GLUFOSIMIC is a non-selective post-emergence desiccant herbicide. It has reduced contact and systemic action. It inhibits the action of glutamine synthetize, an enzyme responsible for the synthesis of glutamine, producing a marked disorder in the physiological processes of cells due to a high concentration of ammonia in them, at the same time that it strongly inhibits photosynthesis.
Toxicity: Class II, Moderately dangerous.
Crops: Non-cultivated areas, genetically modified fruit, corn and soybeans.
Controlling weeds: Annual, biennial and perennial grasses, broadleaf.
