Injectable endectocide

For bovine, ovine, swine and camelidae

 

Formula:

Each 100 mL contains:

Ivermectin…………………………..              1 g

Excipients q.s.ad…………………..              100 mL

 

Indications:

Wide spectrum endoparasiticide and ectoparasiticide.

 

Withdrawal period:

Bovine: not be slaughtered for human consumption until 35 days of last treatment.

Ovine: not be slaughtered for human consumption until 28 days of last treatment.

Swine: not be slaughtered for human consumption until 18 days of last treatment.

Not to be used in dairy cattle producing milk, or 28 days before calving.

 

Route of administration:

Parenteral route, subcutaneous injection.

Bovine and camelids: in areas of loose skin, behind or in front of the shoulder blade.

Ovine: in areas of loose skin, behind or in front of the shoulder blade or in inner thigh.

Swine: behind the ear.

 

Dosage:

Bovine, ovine and camelidae: * 200 µg/kg liveweight (equivalent to 1 mL every 50 kg liveweight).

Against mange in ovine it should be given 1 mL every 45 kg liveweight in two separated doses every 7 days.

Swine: * 300 µg/kg liveweight (equivalent to 1 mL every 33 kg liveweight).
