Injectable solution

Antibiotic for bovine exclusively use

 

Formula:

Each 100 mL contains

Tilmicosin (as phosphate) 30 g

Excipients q.s.ad. 100 mL

 

Indications : 

Tilmic is indicated for the treatment of Bovine Respiratory Disease (BRD), especially when associated with Pasteurella spp. In cases of Bovine Infectious Keratoconjunctivitis, necrotic pododermatitis (foot rot), or other infectious processes caused by germs sensitive to Tilmicosin.

 

Withdrawal period

Meat 28 days.

It should be only administered in bovine and subcutaneously. Do not use automatic dosing syringes. Do not apply more than 15 mL per inoculation site. Do not mix with other product in the same syringe. Do not administer to lactating or pregnant dairy cows. Do not apply in calves younger than 1 month or only fed with milk.

 

Route of administration:

Subcutaneous application only.

 

Dosage:

In cases of Pneumonia: 1 mL of the product every 30 kg weight (10 mg Tilmicosin/kg).

In Keratoconjunctivitis and foot rot: 1 mL every 30 to 60 kg weight is recommended.

The suggested treatment is a single application. Repeat the dose according to veterinarian’s discretion and an interval of 72 hours.
