Clostridial vaccine
Composition:
Purified toxoids of:
Clostridium botulinum type C 50,000 DLM / mL
Clostridium botulinum type D 100,000 DLM / mL
Aluminium Hydroxide 10 % v/v
Saline solution (NaCl 0.85 % w/v) q.s. 2 mL
Thimerosal 0.5 mg
Indications for use:
Vaccine for Botulism prevention.
Target species:
Bovine, camelid, equine, ovine and caprine.
Withdrawal period:
Do not slaughter animals for human consumption before 25 days post-vaccination.
Route of administration:
Subcutaneous route.
Dosage:
Bovine, camlid, equine: 2 mL
Ovine and caprine: 1 mL
Vaccinate and revaccinated at an interval of 28-30 days, and revaccinate with a single dose
annually.
It can be vaccinated animals from two months old.
Conservation:
2 °C – 8°C. DO NOT FREEZE.
